Education and Professional Training: Jason graduated from Brandeis University in 1991 magna cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa. He graduated cum laude from University of Maryland School of Medicine in 1995, where he was selected as a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. Jason completed his residency with Fairfax Family Practice Centers, where he became Academic Chief Resident (1997-1998). After residency, Jason joined Herndon Family Medicine in Herndon, Virginia, where he has been working for the past 25 years. He has been featured as a Washingtonian Top Doctor and Northern Virginia Top Doctor numerous times over his lengthy medical career.

As a board certified family doctor, Jason realized the need for creating safe space and teaching others how to practice self-care. Jason became certified in mind-body medicine through The Center for Mind-Body Medicine and began offering mind-body group sessions in 2021. Jason completed Level 2 Usui reiki certification in July 2023, has completed Level 1 Shamanic reiki with The Reiki Center of Greater Washington, and plans to complete training in May 2024 to become a Reiki Master Practitioner.

Jason has also learned from a variety of exceptional teachers and healers including Master Chunyi Lin, Melissa Joy Jonnson, Richard Bartlett, Michael Singer, Wayne Dyer, Eileen McKusick, Mellissa Seaman, Tara Brach, Dr. W. Brugh Joy, David Gleekel, and many swamis of the Sarasvati order.

While he continues his career as a family doctor, Jason heeded his internal yearning and the call of friends and family to offer mind-body services to the public. He opened Mind Body Healing Arts, LLC in 2023, establishing a safe space to share his knowledge and teach others how to compassionately practice self-care.
